Arbonne Products

I recently announced that Arbonne are kindly sponsoring Parent Panel to attend BritMums Live. If that wasn’t enough they send me a lovely big box of products to test out.

This is what I tried:

RE9 Advanced Range

RE9 Advanced synergises not one, but 9 major age-defying elements and botanicals in a powerful system of products clinically proven to start working within 24 hours.

I was sent Serum, Day Cream, Night Cream and the Eye Cream. I had tested this before when I reviewed for New Mummy’s Tips but was only sent some sachets so it was great to test for a longer period.

Though I don’t have any wrinkles or fine lines (yet) I have found that my skin is smoother and feels healthier after using this for the past few weeks.

All the products glide on your skin and are absorbed really quickly. I use them every day and they are not heavy on my skin at all. My skin is very oily and I find some creams to heavy but these are not.

You only need a small amount of each product and they come in pump bottles (except the night cream) so you don’t use too much and it lasts ages.

They have a really nice citrus smell to them.

FC5 Range

Arbonne’s exclusive fresh science, FC5, sustains the beautiful appearance of skin by providing it with beneficial hydration, necessary cleansing, exfoliation and moisturisation, plus the added benefit of UVA and UVB protection. Arbonne FC5 products help maintain healthy-looking skin that is comfortable, radiant, smooth and hydrated.

I was sent from the face range Purifying Cleanser + Toner for oily/combination skin.  I love, love, love this face wash. I find a lot of face washes even when they are made for oily skin can dry my face but this doesn’t at all. Its gel like and doesn’t foam much but it leaves my skin feeling clean and oil free. It has Matte Fresh Complex which leave you face feeling matte but not dry. I would highly recommend this if you have oily/combination skin.

I was also sent FC5 Conditioning Body Moisture which is really nice, it goes on lovely, absorbs quickly and leaves your skin uber soft.

The Exfoliating Scrub is also great, use that before you slater of the moisture and you will be so soft.

Seasource Detox Spa

SeaSource Detox Spa, a personal care purification program created for detoxification, restoration and total renewal. Seawater and sea plant life work synergistically to transport nutrient elements to cells, helping to cleanse, purify and withdraw toxins from the body. These personal care products stimulate, strengthen and support to help the mind and body function optimally.

Ladies forget about going to the Spa have your own one at home with SeaSource. I was sent the Fortifying Hair mask and Re-Mineralizing Body Lotion 24H. Both are really nice products but the hair mask is my favourite.

The first time I used it I didn’t really notice a difference but the second time my hair felt healthier and I had to use less products to make my hair frizz free. You put it on after shampoo lay back for at least 3 minutes and then was off, you don’t need conditioner afterwards. Perfect for damaged hair like mine.

Arbonne Cosmetics

These were my favourite to try out I do love my cosmetics!

Makeup Primer – I have used primers before and they ever leave my face feeling really dry or tight but this is amazing stuff. If smooth’s your skin, is not heavy at all and last all day. I put this on over the serum and face cream and my face does not feel overloaded and is barely oily at the end of the day.

Bronzer – Firstly this comes in a gorgeous compact and that came in a velvet bag. The bronzer goes on lovely and blends brilliantly. I find sometimes I look too bronzed even if you use a little but this was lovely, gives me a nice glow and you can build to make it darker.

Sheer Glow Highlighter – You can add this on top of make up or if you want a natural glow just on your bare skin. It gives your skin a lovely glow. I add it to some of my foundation and made it into a tinted moisturiser; it worked really well and lasted all day.

Lipstick, Runway Rouge – If you follow my personal twitter account @caroljs you will see I love a red lipstick. Over the last year I have tested many of them and many of them don’t do the job. I really like this lipstick the colour is great, it goes on well, lasts for quite a while and doesn’t dry your lips which I find many reds do. It’s one of my new favourites.

I have really enjoyed trying all these products out, Arbonne might not be the cheapest brand around but I truly believe they are value for money. You only need a small amount of each product and you still get the full benefits of them. I look forward to trying more!
