Just before BG went back to school JD Sports contacted me and asked us to review an item from their back to school range. BG was in need of some new trainers for the school run so it was perfect for us.
BG either bikes or scooters to school. If I let her wear her school shoes they get totally ruined so on the school run she wears trainers and we change them over before she goes in. BG is getting quite particular with her clothing and shoes and after looking at every trainer online she choose these adidas Originals Dragon trainers £32.
I have to say they look awesome on!
BG loves the colours and tells me they are really comfortable to wear. They have been worn on the twice daily school run and she wears them at the weekend and they are still in really good condition. I find the Velcro straps so convenient when we are swapping her shoes over at school much easier than laces.
The JD Sport site is easy to navigate and the shoes arrived in really good time. They have a great selection of school bags, sports equipment and coats in the back to school range. The prices are really reasonable.
I will shop with JD Sports in the future.
Have you seen the Rockabye-Baby clothing collection? Its gives funky a whole new meaning.
This super cute dress arrived for Little Miss today for us to test out (just in time for our holiday) and I am loving the packaging! I am a rocker at heart.
With such a fresh and welcomed approach to dressing kids, it’s no wonder Rockabye-Baby has been selected to showcase its clothes at House of Fraser’s POP at HOF – a pop-up at the flagship Oxford Street store. Following a competition organised by The Great Retail Revival Foundation, Rockabye-Baby was one of just ten small businesses selected from nearly 200 of the UK’s hottest new retailers in a sales event offering the winner a year’s concession at the store. Tattinger is sponsoring the event and people who buy any POP at HOF brands get a free glass of champagne!
Be quick they are only there until the 26th May!

We were recently sent a pair of baby leg warmers from Nappykind for Little Miss to try out. They came at a perfect time as she had just started to crawl.
I choose the Candy Floss leg warmers as they are funky looking but not too girly.
Once I got them onto Little Miss’s wriggly legs they stayed on all day. They helped a little with crawling as you can see she is speedy quick.
They keep her legs nice and warmer and offer a little extra protection from our hard floors. We just need a pair in every colour now!
Nappykind have given me a pair of their Starry Eyed Leg Warmers to giveaway. They would make lovely stocking filler!
Just follow the instructions in the rafflecopter widget below.
Closing Date: 4th November 2013

Fashionista BG was sent a coat from ValMax to wear and revew. ValMax are an Italian company that make luxury clothes for children.
Here is BG in her coat…
It is really warm and fits lovely. Unfortunately as we did it up a button fell off so we have to sew that back on.
BG says it is very warm and she loves the faux fur around the bottom. It’s her going out coat. She couldn’t play in this coat as it would be black within 30 seconds but is lovely.
This is from their AW2012 collection but their spring/summer 2013 collection is now available and there are some stunning dresses.
All the clothes are handmade using quality materials. If you are looking for a special piece of clothing ValMax is for you.
ValMax is available in store at Please Mum – London, Talula – Darlington, STEP2WO – London, Children Salon – Kent, Harvey Nichols – London, and online at Children’s Salon
