Sea Band Mama- Ginger Lozenges with Folic Acid           Sea-Band Mama! Ginger Lozenges with Folic Acid

Price: £3.99

Available fromSea-Bands Mama, Lloyds Pharmacy and Independent Health Shops

Initial Reaction:

I was hesitant at first about these as I really don’t like ginger at all, but I really wanted to try them, they seemed to work as well.

Pros:

  • They did help with sickness
  • Aren’t too big so you can eat them quickly if need be
  • Contain folic acid

Cons:

  • They are ginger
  • Could only really stomach them a few (disappointed because I didn’t like them)

Value for money?

I think they are great value for money, although I didn’t like them, I would recommend to friends with morning sickness.

Overall Reaction:

I was surprised they worked for me as I don’t like ginger at all, they were easy to eat and I didn’t feel sick once most times I had them, sadly I had one bad day that when at one it did actually make me sick, but up until then they had really helped. I would recommend to a friend and I would use them again.

Initial Reaction:

I was curious to see whether rubbing oil in certain places would improve my sickness

Pros:

  • Great size
  • Easy to use
  • Smells great
  • Actually worked!
  • Good price

Cons:

  • I don’t have any cons.

Value for money?

I think its great value for money; I would use this and buy this again.

Overall Reaction:

This product was a life saver, I found that it helped straight away, regardless of where I rubbed it, it had a very fresh minty smell which I found really helped my sickness, I could hardly smell ginger at all so I was happy!! I still use this now and then when my sickness comes and it continues to help it truly is a fab product.

Sea Bad Mama- Acupressure Wrist Bands           Sea-Band Mama! Pregnancy Sea-Band

Price: £8.15

Available fromSea-Bands Mama, Lloyds Pharmacy and Independent Health Shops Score out of 5:4/5

Initial Reaction: I had used a similar product and found it made no difference so was surprised that these actually helped.

Pros:

  • Reusable
  • Washable
  • No side effects

Cons:

  • Slightly small
  • Putting them in the right place is a bit hard at times

Value for money?

I personally think they are slightly more expensive then I would like, but they are a good product.

Overall Reaction:

I had used a similar product in a previous pregnancy an d they hadn’t helped so I was pleased when these actually helped, I found that once I had them in the right place they did relieve the sickness for a while, but I also found after a while they started to hurt my wrists as they are really tight, all in all a good product.
