I am not the most active person; fitness is not really my thing. However a little bit of exercise is needed in pregnancy especially if like me you have back problems as it will help ease the pain.

My favourite workouts were:

Barefoot and pregnant in the cardio section it’s a Pilate’s based workout. Cute to the core in the strength section which helps keep your hips strong and the mind, body and relax which is in stretch and relax section.

They are sort routines and you can choose to do one or a few in one go. They are designed especially for pregnant women.

If like me you would like to strengthen your body ready for birth and baby then this is a great DVD to try.
