Review: Kärcher Steam Cleaner

Cleaning isn’t my most favourite thing in the world so when I can use something to make cleaning easier I jump at the chance. I was sent a Kärcher 2.500 C Steam Cleaner to test out and I have put it through its paces.

Karcher Steam Cleaner

We have just moved house so I used to it to give both houses a big deep clean.  I used it in most rooms to including the kitchen where I never realised how dirty my sink was and the bathroom which was just grim to be honest!

It was really easy to use, you fill up the chamber with water and wait for it heat up. It takes about 6 minutes to get to temperature and then it’s ready to go. It comes with a few attachments so you can clean most places in your home.

It cleans really quickly and efficiently and the best bit is that you don’t need any cleaning products the steam does the hard work.  It also dries really quickly so you don’t have to worry about wet floors.

Using the Kärcher 2.500 C Steam Cleaner I have cleaned:

  • Kitchen sink and taps
  • Cooker top
  • Bathroom sink and toilet
  • All the floors in both houses (tiled, lino and laminate)
  • Dishwasher left in our new house. It kept leaking because the seal was full of crud and lime scale. A few minutes with the steam cleaner and it was a good as new
  • Window frames that had mould on them

It’s now part of my cleaning routine as all my down stairs floors are either tiled or laminate. I put it on to heat up, run the hoover over first and then steam clean all the floors. Its takes less than 20 mins to do the whole lot and it’s perfectly clean for the kids to play on.  I also use it once a week to give the kitchen and bathroom a deep clean.

The Kärcher 2.500 C Steam Cleaner comes with:

  • Childproof safety lock
  • Safety valve
  • Steam flow regulation, on handle
  • Integrated funnel
  • 2-tank system
  • Parking position
  • Steam hose with gun, 2 m

  • Hand tool
  • Round brush, black, 1 pcs
  • Terry cloth cover for hand tool, 1 pcs
  • Descaler Sticks
  • Terry floor cloth, 1 pcs

This is a great cleaning product to have in your home you can do so much with it and it only uses water. You can buy additional accessories to go with it including a window tool and textile tool for clothes.

I should really invest in one of these. They seem to make cleaning so much easier and once you are done, you can be sure that no nasty little germs are dancing along on your worktop x
