Boredom Busting with Sainsbury’s

BG and I were recently invited by Sainsbury’s to try out some of their boredom busting activities. We jumped on a train to London and arrived at Bedford Square Gardens for an afternoon of fun.

They had put together a selection of activities from their Bumper Book of Summer to try out and BG did everything!

She made a seashell photo frame.

Made sandcastles, pretended to be a TV presenter, raced dressed as a plane, did a football assault course which she was really rather good at, became a pirate, became a nature detective, decorated ginger bread men, had her face painted, splattered paint (and got a green hair), made a full length monster and a friendship bracelet.  Yes she was very tired afterwards!

We had a great day and came away with our own Bumper Book of Summer so we could have our own fun.  The book is great value for money. It costs just £5 and has 60 activities to do plus it comes with a really good scrap book. It’s really thick and has 100 stickers. The books also come with a DVD which we are yet to watch and a poster. You can but extra scrap books for £1!

BG wants to try some of the recipes in the book and with two more weeks of the summer holidays to go we won’t be bored!

Sainsbury’s contributed towards travel costs. All opinions and words are my own.
